Bong Hit 99

Play cards. Count up. Don’t go over 99. Last player standing wins a bong hit.

How to Play

During the hand

Play one card, the Count goes up, draw back to four.
The Count can’t go over 99. Landing on 99 is fine.
Below 99, cards are worth face value. Aces are 1. Jacks and Queens are 10.
Except Kings. A King always sets the Count to 99.
At 99, some cards wake up. Nothing else can be played. The 99 Cheat Sheet has the list.
If you can play a card, you have to. The lit-up cards are your choices.
No legal card means you’re out. Last player standing wins a bong hit.

After the hand

Every hand flips face up and the clubs get checked.

How many humans?

Bud plays either way. All human hands are face up, so one of you can run every seat, or pass the screen around.

99 Cheat Sheet

2 and 9 pass. The Count stays at 99.
10 drops the Count to 89.
King keeps it at 99.
Queen of Spades is the Death Card. The next player must play the Ace of Diamonds or they’re out. If they have it, you’re out. (2-player game: if they shield with the Ace of Diamonds, nobody dies. Play continues.)
Everything else busts you.
